MartyWoody.com shares stories, videos, and podcast updates from Marty, Woody, and Baby Jazzy. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you visit the site and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups. If you join the pack, we collect your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name.
- Contact form messages. If you write to us, we receive the name, email address, subject, and message you enter.
- Basic site data. Like most websites, our hosting and WordPress record technical information such as your browser type, device, pages visited, and IP address, and may use cookies needed for the site to work.
- Embedded content. Some pages embed videos from YouTube or link to Spotify and Instagram. Those services may collect their own information under their own privacy policies. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode where available.
- Donations. If you choose to support the site, you are taken to PayPal. PayPal handles your payment details; we do not see or store your card or bank information.
How we use it
We use your information to send the newsletter you asked for, reply to your messages, keep the site secure and working, and understand how to improve it. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run the site, such as our website host, our email newsletter service (MailPoet), and PayPal for donations, or when the law requires it.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. You can also ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us below.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
